Choir

Overview

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Col. 3:16 (ESV)

The Bethesda Choir’s mission is to serve God and the assembly through songs of praise, worship and thanksgiving. We believe in nurturing and using the talents that God has given us (however small) to proclaim His love and good works, both to worship Him and to edify the body of Christ.

What to Expect

The choir primarily performs for two major events in the year – Easter and Christmas. Our weekly meetings on Mondays are typically practice sessions for these two performances.

The choir is split into four sections (sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses), and practice sessions are spent learning our parts, based on which section of the choir we belong to. We also dedicate time to honing our vocal abilities through a series of warmups and vocal exercises.
