FoodTalk Ministry (FTM) is an outreach programme which allows members to invite their pre-believing friends to attend. Due to their like-minded interests in food or cooking, the invitations are seldom declined. This ministry is for all ages and while the cooking demonstration and hands-on activities may attract an audience, we hope the segment where we preach the gospel will be even more well received.
Members invite friends to attend, and they will be registered. Befrienders will welcome them and interact where possible. The cooking demonstration involves a food dish being carefully thought out and prepared while the audience observes.
While the dish is being cooked after the preparation, the gospel is preached. There is usually a hands-on session for participants to try their hands at picking up the right technique. Occasionally, there will be games and prizes.
