Young Working Adults

Overview

“Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.” (Deut. 10:19)

YWA’s mission is to build up young working adults (YWA) through fellowship and teaching to grow in spiritual maturity, supported by like-minded Christian brothers and sisters to serve Jesus Christ and live out the gospel in their communities.

What to Expect

At YWA, you can expect a warm community ready to welcome you and share their lives with one another to grow in Christ 😊

Our group has 4 pillars:

Fellowship: We meet at homes, occasionally at church. We typically start with dinner fellowship, discussions with bible study, and prayer. We also organiseorganize activities such as LNY Steamboat, board games night and night walks etc.
Teaching: We cover a mix of session series (e.g. ‘Gospel In Life’ by Timothy Keller, ‘Case for Faith’ by Lee Strobel) and workshops on practical areas (e.g. evangelism styles, mental health, managing personal finance)
Service: We encourage our members to serve in various ministries and assembly activities.
Outreach: We focus on loving the sojourners in our midst (Deut. 31:12; 10:19; Eph. 2:19), whether they are pre-believers, going through transitions or finding community.
